Yesterday morning was one for the books. You know when you have one of those days when everything seems to be going wrong. Yep that was me!
So yesterday's not-so-pleasant morning got me thinking... When little things go wrong, you can either dwell on them and let it completely ruin your day, or you can let it go and move on. I love this saying "people are just as happy as they make up their minds to be." Think about it: everyone has problems, yet why is it that some people never let their problems get them down. Everything isn't going to go perfectly all the time. Things go wrong. Every. Single. Day. So it's up to us to overlook those things and be happy.

I went to dinner with my co-workers to a Burmese restaurant called Burma Superstar -- supposedly one of the best Burmese restaurants in San Francisco. I'd never had Burmese food before so I was a little apprehensive and anxious but also really excited to give it a shot! Needless to say, I'm now obsessed. If you've never had Burmese food, it's a little like Chinese food but better in my opinion.)
Sorry about that tangent.. but anyway life is certainly not going to go how we think, so we have to take every day as it comes, be flexible in our decisions, choose to be happy, and splurge a little when we can :)

Great post!! And I think it's how we handle those situations that make us who we are :) Glad to hear your day turned around and glad you took advantage to go to dinner!
